Yes. Your phone number can be transferred to the Videotron network regardless of the phone company you are dealing with now. However, the phone number must be under your name and it must be transferred to the same local calling area. For instance, a phone number in the 514 area code cannot be transferred to the 450 area code.
Is the service compatible with my home security system, which is connected to a remote monitoring station?
Videotron's telephone service is compatible with all commercially available alarm systems. This is one of the checks the technician does before installing the equipment.

This limited time offer is for new customers or existing customers who subscribe to Vidéotron's Residential Telephony Service. The monthly residential service rate of $28.50 will apply as of the 7th month for Residential Telephony customers who also subscribe to at least two of the following services : Television, Internet and/or Mobile Telephony service. The monthly residential service rate of $31.50 will apply as of the 7th month for Residential Telephony customers who also subscribe to at least one of the following services : Television, Internet and/or Mobile Telephony service. The monthly residential service rate of $34.50 will apply as of the 7th month of subscriptions for customers who subscribe to Residential Telephony only.
Videotron residential telephone service is available where technology permits.

Calls between customers
Free, unlimited long-distance calls between residential, mobile and business telephone customers apply to residential and business telephone service customers and/or 4G mobile telephone service customers who have Videotron as their long-distance service provider.
Your subscription must include residential telephone service, the Caller ID feature and illico Digital TV service; a compatible digital terminal is required. Option not available with the Softphone. The display on your television may differ from that on your telephone.
To use this service, a subscription to Videotron's Voicemail feature and residential Internet service is required.
