Call Display

Call display allows you to see the name and telephone number of the person who is trying to reach you before you answer the call.

Voice Mail

If you are on the phone or unable to answer the phone, your incoming calls will be redirected to your Videotron voice mail.

Voice mail allows you to access your messages from any telephone, regardless of phone service provider.

When you receive a voice message, this service immediately forwards it as an attachment (.wav file) to the Videotron e-mail address of your choice.

Call Waiting

The Call Waiting service prevents you from missing a call while you are on the line. A brief tone alerts you to another incoming call, while you are on the line.

By using different tones, this service also allows you to determine whether the waiting call is local or long distance. Incoming calls also have a unique ring that allows you to determine whether they are local or long-distance calls.

Visual Call Waiting

The Visual Call Waiting service allows you to see the name and phone number of the waiting call on your telephone display screen while you are already on the line.

Personalized Ring

The personalized ring service makes it possible for you to add a number to your residential service and to have a distinct ring for each of your numbers.

This is a practical way to distinguish among calls addressed to the various occupants of the house and the fax line.

Call Forwarding (*72)

With the call forwarding service, you can have your calls automatically forwarded to a number where you can be reached including your cell phone, your pager or your voice mail.

Note: If you forward your calls to a telephone number outside your local calling area, the usual long-distance charges will be billed if there is an answer at that number.

Busy Call Return (*66)

Busy call return service allows you to have a busy line monitored for 30 minutes. When the line becomes free, your telephone will ring in a distinctive way.

Call Blocking (*67)

The call blocking service is available on your phone line. It prevents the person you are calling from seeing your name and telephone number displayed on their telephone screen.

Call Trace (*57)

The call trace service enables you to take action when you are being bothered by unwanted calls by allowing you to trace them.

If you are receiving many harassing calls, you must be prepared to call the police so they can investigate. According to regulations, Videotron cannot provide you with this information.
