Visit the US with peace of mind. Thanks to agreements made with a number of partners in the US, all Videotron subscribers can travel to the US without worries. You don't need to do anything: the service is automatically activated and all Videotron devices are compatible with US roaming.
Main partners
Our main GSM roaming partners in the US are T-Mobile, AT&T Wireless, CellularOne (Dobson and Western Wireless), Cincinnati Bell, and Indigo Wireless. Please note that some areas are covered by more than one of our partners and that the GPRS service is not available on certain networks.
Your wireless services will keep on working
When in the US, you still have access to most of your services. We recommend that you consult our Coverage and roaming - Questions and answers section to verify that your services work the same way in the US.
Usage fees when travelling to the US
You can make international calls when travelling to the US. This service is automatically activated. International calls are billed according to the rates of the local American GSM carriers.

Note: Starting August 3rd, 2009, rate fixing of per-use airtime outside of Canada will be simplified in order to allow an easier follow-up of your roaming expenses. A unique per-minute rate, depending on the country you are visiting, will apply (plus applicable taxes) for all types of calls (incoming, outgoing, local or even international calls).

Wireless Internet
Roaming data transmission charges apply when you travel in the U.S. Note that GPRS roaming charges also apply to all incoming and outgoing multimedia messages.

You also have access to 911 and 411 for local emergency services and directory assistance. Long-distance and airtime charges apply to all 411 calls.
