Can I purchase content from any site?

No. Videotron manages the distribution of content to its customers to ensure artists and content owners are fairly compensated for licence fees.

Videotron is not responsible for the fees billed by another site, or any damages incurred to your phone by downloading content from sites other than those provided by Videotron as part of its download services.

Can I preview a polytone, authentic ringtone, wallpaper, game, tune, or video before downloading it to my handset?

Yes. Visit wirelesszone.videotron.com. To listen to ringtones on your computer, you need a sound card and Flash plugin. Screen captures for games are also available.

Note: Videotron does its best to ensure that the content that appears on your handset is the same as on the site; however it cannot guarantee that it will function in exactly the same way.

How do I organize content downloaded to my phone?

What is my phone's storage capacity?

Storage capacity varies depending on the phone model. For some, storage capacity can be increased using a memory card. Consult your phone's user guide to find out if it is designed to accept additional storage.

If your phone's storage is full and you are trying to download another item, you will be asked to delete a previously downloaded item. This item will be permanently deleted and you will have to purchase and download it to your phone again.

Can I set a specific polytone, authentic ringtone, or wallpaper for each number in my phone book?

Can I transfer content from my old handset to my new one?

No, downloads cannot be transferred from one handset to the other.

Downloaded content is reserved for the exclusive use of your Videotron wireless handset. You cannot transmit, distribute, reproduce, or modify downloaded content to your handset.

What does a megabyte (1 MB) correspond to?

A megabyte (MB) equals 1,024 kilobytes (KB). In other words, a megabyte corresponds to approximately:

  • 25 Web pages (average of 40 KB per downloaded page), or:
  • 170 WAP document searches (average of 6 KB per search), or:
  • 20 pages created with a spreadsheet or word processing software application, or:
  • 15 pages created with presentation software.
