Canada/US 125 minutes

Long-distance calls within Canada and the US are usually billed at 30¢ per minute. With Canada/US LD 125, you get 125 long-distance minutes to Canada and the US for only $10 per month - only 8¢ per minute. Additional minutes are billed at 30¢ per minute.

When making long-distance calls you are using airtime and calls are billed per minute. By long-distance calls we mean calls made to numbers outside your local calling area, calls received outside your local calling area and calls forwarded outside your local calling area.

As of March 15, 2010, the local calling areas of Alma, Chicoutimi, Drummondville, Granby, Joliette, Sorel, Saint-Hyacinthe, Saint-Jean, Saint-Jérôme, Saint-Jovite, Saint-Sauveur, Valleyfield and Victoriaville will be modified so as to better comply with the geographic boundaries determined by the industry. The local calling area designates a geographic area in which you may complete a call without incurring long-distance charges.

Due to these modifications, some of the calls that were considered before as local calls will be rated as long-distance calls, if they were made outside your local calling area.
