Connecting the AC-3 terminal

If you have digital surround-sound (or a sound system with a digital audio output - AC-3 Out), connect the EXPLORER® unit's AC-3 output to your sound receiver's AC-3 input.

NOTE: The EXPLORER® does not provide AC-3 decoding, it only carries the signal through the EXPLORER's AC-3 output. To fully benefit from this feature, you should have a Dolby Digital decoder (AC-3), which normally comes with recent-model sound systems.
