Setup 5: Stereo TV and VCR (with recording in digital)
NOTE: This connection lets you view a channel or view or record a video in stereo. To enjoy stereo sound through your sound system, the TV and the VCR must both be turned on and the VIDÉO/AUDIO input of the TV must be selected. Press the INPUT SELECT, INPUT, AUX, AVX or TV/VIDEO button of the TV remote control. On some TV models, you will have to select one of the following channels: 00, 01, 91 or 99. (Some models include a switch with the indication MONITOR, A/V or AUX.)
When you select the VIDEO or LINE input on the TV, the stereo indicator light on the VCR does not switch on, but you nevertheless hear the stereo sound
You can set the EXPLORER®2000 to record different channels at different times.
E.g.:
Channel 25 Tues. 26 - 08 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Channel 35 Tues. 26 - 08 from 1:30 a.m. to 3:00 a.m.
Use the VCR TIMER function on your VCR to start recording at the desired time. Use the example below to program the VCR TIMER function:
Channel A/Vm (LINE) Tues. 26 - 08 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Channel A/Vm (LINE) Tues. 26 - 08 from 1:30 a.m. to 3:00 a.m
Note: Your EXPLORER may differ from the model shown here, but the way to connect and use it is the same.
