Connection to a stereo TV and a stereo VCR with or without a sound system
Your EXPLORER® model may be different from the one in the picture, but this does not change the method of connection and use.
Note: When you activate VIDEO or LINE input on your television or on your VCR, the stereo signal light will not light up but you will still hear the audio in stereo.
To record the program in stereo that you are viewing: Follow the instructions for the previous operation to view the channel of your choice in stereo. Start recording by pressing the VCR's REC button and adjust the volume on the TV
To record the program in stereo that you are viewing:
- Follow the instructions for the previous operation to view the channel of your choice in stereo.
- Start recording by pressing the VCR's REC button and adjust the volume on the TV
To record a program in stereo during your absence:
- Adjust the volume of the EXPLORER® at maximum.
- Press the EXPLORER® remote SETTINGS button twice. Move the cursor to the TIMER: VCR option and follow the instructions on the screen. You can program the EXPLORER® to record various channels at various times.
Ex.:
Channel 25 Tuesday 26-08 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Channel 35 Tuesday 26-08 from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
- Use the VCR TIMER function of your VCR to start recording at the desired time. Refer to the following example to program the VCR TIMER function as follows:
Ex.:
Channel A/V (LINE) Tuesday 26-08 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Channel A/V (LINE) Tuesday 26-08 from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
To view a video or a pre-recorded program:
- Turn on the TV and the VCR.
- Select the VIDEO/AUDIO input on the TV by pressing the INPUT SELECT, INPUT, AUX, AVX or TV/VIDEO button of the TV remote control.
- Start playing the video (press the PLAY button). Adjust the volume on the TV or stereo tuner, depending on the connection established.
