Limit on addresses in the address book
The address book can contain up to 200 e-mail addresses.
Number of illico e-mail accounts
Vidéotron offers up to 3 e-mail accounts per illico digital TV subscriber. However, each e-mail account can only have one alias.

Vidéotron offers interactivity and e-mail service free of charge to all of its illico digital TV customers.
Forgot your e-mail account password
If you have forgotten your password, you will have to contact Technical Support.
Using the "c.c." & " c.c.c " fields
The "c.c." field can be used to write the addresses of people who you wish to receive a copy of an e-mail you are sending to someone else. You can enter as many addresses as you want in this field.
The "c.c.c." field can be used to write the addresses of people who will receive a copy of an e-mail but their names won't appear in the distribution list.
Limit on electronic mailbox space
The limit of your mailbox is 1MB.
Sent Items folder always empty
If you want to keep a copy of the e-mails you send, start by activating this option.
- Enter the "Settings" section of the illico e-mail.
- Select "Save sent messages".
- Change the status to "Yes", your sent messages will be automatically saved.
Viewing the mailbox from a remote location
You can view your e-mails from any illico digital TV terminal or on any regular Internet access by visiting this address : videotron.com/webmail
Problem scrolling an e-mail
The Page+ and Page- keys are used to scroll the text of e-mails longer than one screen page. These keys are on the right side of the wireless keyboard or the remote control.
Error message from the e-mail administrator
If you cannot send an e-mail to a specific address, the address is probably incorrect. If it is in your address book, validate it, check the uppercase letters and make sure that there are no spaces between characters. If you have entered the address manually in the To: field, retype it and check each character. Remember, it takes only a single mistyped character or one space too many to invalidate the address!
Messages not being received
Your folders have reached the 1-MB limit and are freezing the messaging. Open the Inbox folder. You will see a confirmation message from the administrator. To restore messaging, you will need to do some housekeeping! Open the Inbox, Sent Mail and Drafts folders and discard irrelevant e-mails; they will be sent to Trash. Next, quit the service and your Trash will be automatically emptied. When you'll return to the service, you'll have available space.
Invalid password
Carefully check the account number and password, make sure that the caps lock key (Caps Lock) is not active, and re-enter the data. If this still does not work, contact Technical Support.
