Technical Specifications

* This remote is designed solely for the illico Personal Video Recorder (PVR).

* The # key enables the Zoom and Stretch functions on high-definition terminals.

* The remote includes a four-button MODE (CBL, TV, VCR and AUX) enabling you to control the terminal, a TV, a VCR (or a DVD) or an auxiliary device (ex.: a CD player).

* The remote does not have a VCR/VOD key. When using the CBL, the remote will automatically control PVR functions like PAUSE, PLAY, STOP, REWIND and FASTFORWARD.

* The automatic search for device codes is done using the 991 function.

Programming the remote using the 991 search method (rapid method)

1. Turn ON the selected devices (terminal, TV, VCR…) and point the remote in the opposite direction of them.

2. Simultaneously press the TV and SELECT keys (or VCR and SELECT, or AUX and SELECT ). Keep the keys pressed until the corresponding device key (TV or VCR or AUX) blinks twice.

3. On the numerical keypad of the remote, enter 991. The device key will blink twice.

4. Point the remote in the direction of the chosen device and press the PLAY key (press only once without holding it). The remote will start to test various codes for the chosen device. Each time the TV key (or VCR or AUX) blinks, it means a new code is being tested. When the chosen device shuts down, press SELECT.

5. Test this by pressing the POWER key. If it turns ON, press the SELECT key to complete the operation. If it does not, repeat the previous steps until the remote can turn the device ON/OFF.

2. Turn ON all your devices (terminal, TV, VCR…). Point the remote in the opposite direction of them.

3. Simultaneously press the TV and SELECT keys (or VCR and SELECT, or AUX and SELECT, depending on the device you want to control). Keep both keys pressed until the correct key (TV, VCR or AUX) blinks twice.

4. Enter the first code from the list. The chosen key (TV, VCR or AUX) will blink twice when the last digit is entered. If it does not blink twice, try with another code from the list until it does.

5. Point the remote towards the chosen device and press either on POWER, PLAY or CH+ keys. If the device does not react, repeat the procedure with another code from the list. When the device can be turned OFF with the remote, the operation is completed correctly.
