My voice mail has just been activated; can I use it right away?

Your voice mail is ready to take your messages; you don't need to do anything. However, to retrieve your messages, you must initialize your voice mail by completing the following steps:

• Choose a 4-to-15-digit password.
• Record your name to identify your voice mail.
• Record a personalized greeting message.

What is my temporary password?

Your temporary password is the last four digits of your telephone number followed by 99. For example, if your telephone number is 514-281-1711, your temporary password is 171199.

What do I have to do if I forget my password?

For security reasons, you must call our Technical Support department, and an agent will help you with a new password.

There are three options:

1. You can use one of our access numbers.

How many voice messaging systems does Vidéotron offer and what are the related products?

Vidéotron has three voice messaging systems: two for digital telephony (via cable and Softphone) and one for wireless telephony.

As a rule, cable telephone lines installed before August 2005 use a messaging system that is different from those installed after that date. The more recent system allows the "Voice mail by e-mail" option. It is available to most cable telephone service subscribers and all Softphone subscribers. Note that it is not possible to answer, send or forward messages from one system to another.
