  1. First, click on the "Tools" menu, then on "Options"
  2.  

  3. Click on the "Maintenance" tab , then on the "Store Folder" button.
  4.  

  5. Right-click on your mouse and click on "Select All".
  6.  

  7. Once the text is selected, right-click again on your mouse and click on "Copy".
  8.  

  9. Once this step is completed, close the Microsoft Outlook Express software.

    Click on the "Start" menu, then "Run". In the text area, right-click on your mouse and click on "Paste".

  11. Click on "OK".

  13. This will open a new window of "Windows Explorer". Click on the "Edit" menu and on "Select All".

  15. Click again on the "Edit" menu and click this time on "Copy".
  16.  

  17. Browse the directory where you want to save the back-up file. If you need a new directory to be created, select the "File" menu, "New" and then "Folder".
  18.  

  19. Name the directory "Saved emails" or whatever you likes.
  20.  

  21. Double-click on the directory "Saved emails".
  22.  

  23. Click on "Edit" and "Paste".
