Connecting the USB Interface to your computer

The USB adapter is equipped with two sockets for connection to two cables. One of the sockets looks like a large telephone jack. This is the RJ-45 socket, which connects the USB interface to the modem. The other socket connects the USB adapter to your computer.

The flat connector (shown opposite) connects to the USB outlet, which is usually located at the back of your computer.

Simply observe the shape of the connectors to determine where each one plugs in.
