Scientific Atlanta Modem with Windows XP

The following procedure updates the Scientific Atlanta Webstar DPX110 modem's driver with Windows XP.

1. If you don't already have the Webstar DPX110 modem's driver, download the file by clicking here.

2. Save the webstar.exe file on a diskette or in another place like the Windows XP desktop.

3. Unplug the USB cable connecting the cable modem to the computer at one end.

    

4. Run the driver install program from where it has been saved.

   

5. Click Extract to decompress the files to the suggested folder: C:\mc\

   

6. A black window will open, then disappear.

7. When the install program is finish, re-plug the USB cable and then, restart the computer.
