Transferring the web hosting service

The transfer will be quick and easy, and will not impact your business or data. However, you will need to link a payment method to your EasyHosting account to ensure everything is up and running.

To proceed with the transfer of the service, follow the steps below:

1. Go to your Hosting portal via the secure site and authenticate yourself using your credentials (your username corresponds to your domain name).
2. Select the "Payment" tab and fill in the required fields. You will need to agree to EasyHosting's terms and confirm your banking information.
3. Once your information has been received, you will receive a confirmation email from EasyHosting within approximately 24 business hours. If you have not received this email, please check your spam folder.
4. The transfer to EasyHosting will take place autonomously and transparently as of May 1, 2025. Your agreement with Videotron will end on that date, and you will then become an EasyHosting customer.

In order to focus on developing its core service offering, Videotron Business has entrusted the web hosting service to its partner, EasyHosting, who has all the knowledge and expertise in this area.

EasyHosting has agreed to maintain your current monthly rate for a period of 6 months from the date of the email notice, unless you choose to change the terms of your service during this period.

Adding your credit card information confirms that you want to keep the hosting service. This transaction is secure, and no charges will be made until the date of the transfer.

Once you fill out the form and enter the payment information, EasyHosting will confirm the transaction and send you a welcome email.

On the day of the transfer, Videotron will stop billing for this service in its system. You will be billed for this service until April 30th. If applicable, a prorated refund for your usage will automatically apply.

As of May 1st, a redirect will be set up to automatically direct you to the new portal.

Your login credentials and features will be the same, but your portal interface will change visually to match EasyHosting's colours.

Transferring your current account to EasyHosting will not happen automatically. As of May 1, 2025, the hosting and administrative management services of your agreement with Videotron will end. If you don't take action, your website and domain-based emails will no longer be accessible and you risk losing your data. We therefore suggest that you back up your hosted data before the date of the permanent withdrawal of our service.
