Basic Internet access installation

Without static IP

  1. Internet access.
  2. Modem. Provides the link between Internet access and connected devices.
  3. Wi-Fi router.

  1. Internet access.
  2. Modem. Gives the dynamic public IP address.
  3. Router. Used to generate static IPs. Does not provide Wi-Fi.
  4. Wi-Fi router.

Internet access and Wi-Fi Pro installation

Less than 4 access points

  1. Internet access.
  2. Modem.
  3. Access point in router mode. The access point also serves as a basic firewall.
  4. Additional access points as needed. Will serve as relays in bridge mode.

5 or more access points

  1. Internet access.
  2. Modem. Provides the public IP address.
  3. Router. Serves as a router and firewall.
  4. Switch. Provides ports needed to connect devices and powers access points.

Internet access and Automatic Backup Connection installation

  1. Internet access.
  2. Modem. Provides the public IP address.
  3. Cobra 5G Xtream gateway. Provides Wi-Fi and Automatic Backup Connection, if needed.
  4. Automatic Backup Connection. Takes over in the event of an incident on the main network.

  1. Internet access.
  2. Modem. Gives the public IP address to the first access point.

  4. LTE backup key. Picks up the signal from the backup connection.
  5. Automatic Backup Connection on the mobile network.
  6. Additional access points, depending on coverage needs. For high-performance extended Wi-Fi.

Internet, Automatic Backup Connection, and Wi-Fi Pro (5 or more access points)

  1. Internet access.
  2. Modem. Gives the public IP address to the Aruba 9004 LTE router.
  3. Aruba 9004 LTE. Serves as a router and firewall. Does not provide Wi-Fi.
  4. Switch. Provides the ports needed to connect devices and powers access points.
  5. Wi-Fi Pro access points.
  6. Automatic Backup Connection on the mobile network.
