Only the LTE network is available in the United States. If your device doesn’t have VoLTE capability, you won't be able to make calls and texts across the border. You may also be unable to use your mobile data if your device is not LTE capable at all.

How do the services of my Mobile plan work abroad?

If you are going abroad, you have the option of keeping the use of the services of your Mobile plan. These are not automatically blocked, but may incur charges. Before you go abroad, be cautious.

International roaming with a Videotron Business phone

If you have a Videotron Business phone, you can learn about the international rates we charge in accordance with our roaming agreements with operators in the country you'll be travelling to. Unless you request otherwise, your phone is automatically unlocked (voice/data) in Canada, the US and abroad.

International with a phone that does not come from Videotron

If your phone was not purchased from Videotron, you can check whether Videotron has roaming agreements in the country you'll be travelling to by going to the Coverage and Travelling section of the Videotron Mobile website. Check with your device's manufacturer to make sure that it has the right frequencies for your destination.

Tablet: services are not available abroad (Only US). You can use the Internet only with a Wi-Fi connection.

How to call Canada from abroad?

To call Canada from abroad, with your mobile phone, it's simple:

Hold the 0 key until the + symbol appears.
Dial 1, the area code and the number you wish to call.
