Three young lawyers are found dead in Montréal, with mysterious religious symbols on their bodies. Thomas, an unremarkable theologian, finds himself at the heart of the investigation. Alongside his friend, Detective Sergeant Savard, and his partner, Maya Mérida, Thomas becomes indispensable in deciphering the strange symbols. His discoveries reveal not only the killer’s motives, but also the dark and disturbing history of a family recluse in a monastery.
