Mégantic series, produced in 2023, is inspired by the real events of the July 6, 2013, train tragedy involving the largest onshore oil spill in North America.
The series goes beyond what anyone has seen or heard in the media. It takes a deeply human look at this tragedy that shook Québec, Canada and the world. Each episode follows the destinies of Méganticois marked by grief and trauma, but also by solidarity, courage and heroism.
