How to use the Helix TV Replay and Lookback features

Learn how to use the catch-up features on Helix TV, so you don’t miss your favourite shows and content.

Navigating on a current program

Thanks to the catch-up features, you can pause a current program, go back to the live broadcast, rewind, and sometimes even fast forward. Show recordings begin when you choose a channel that allows you to control the playback.

Good to know

You can rewind up to 25 minutes, but cannot go back further than the time when you tuned in to the channel.

Restart a current program

The Restart feature allows for watching the current program from the beginning.

The restart icon next to a program in the TV Listings means it can be replayed in its entirety. To use the Restart feature:

  1. Use voice command or the Helix Menu Search feature to find the desired content.
  2. Select Episodes.
  3. Choose the episode to watch in the list.

Some content is available in the On Demand section. To find out if the desired content is accessible on demand or on lookback, search the Helix Menu and then confirm the viewing options.
