In accordance with the sections of the Consumer Protection Act and current regulations, new mobile phones and tablets sold by Videotron to Residential customers as of October 5, 2026, will benefit from a three (3)-year warranty of good working order, effective as of item’s delivery date. This warranty must be honoured by the manufacturer or retailer who sold the item.
The warranty of good working order does not cover: (a) regular maintenance and the replacement of parts as a result; (b) damage as a result of improper use of the device on your part; and (c) any accessory other than that stipulated in current regulations.

Goods are considered to be of nature to require maintenance when their use may require the replacement, cleaning, or upgrade of one of their components.
In accordance with applicable sections of the Consumer Protection Act and current regulations, please note that Videotron does not provide replacement parts, repair services, or information necessary for the maintenance or repair of equipment that is loaned, leased, or sold.

Manufacturer’s or retailer’s warranty (if applicable)
When you purchase a good, the manufacturer or retailer may offer you a free warranty for the product in question. This “conventional” or “contractual” warranty is in addition to the legal warranties provided by law. The good’s manufacturer and retailer are free to establish certain conditions surrounding this optional warranty, including certain exclusions.
In this respect, Videotron offers a basic twelve (12)-month warranty on the sale of its certified refurbished phones (parts and labour).
