Do I need to enable data roaming to use my mobile phone outside of Canada?
Yes. To use your phone outside of Canada, you must enable roaming on your device. This is also the case if you use the Daily Traveller Pass or have a travel plan.
When data roaming is enabled and you’re in a border area, be careful of accidental roaming (when your mobile device connects to a tower in another country). This use may not be covered by your plan.
