Changing the recording capacity or adding it

Learn how to change the recording capacity included in your Helix TV package online, or add a recording hours add-on to your TV App package.

Changing or adding the recording capacity

Depending on your needs, you can easily increase or decrease the number of recording hours in your Helix TV package or, if you have a TV App package, get the recording feature by adding a recording hours add-on.

  1. In My Account, go to the Services & Equipment.
  2. On the tile indicating your TV package, click Change recording capacity.
  3. Select the desired capacity.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Review the Order summary.
  6. To finish, click Proceed to checkout.

Your recording capacity will be adjusted or added within minutes of the change.

If fees or credits apply, they will be calculated from the date of the change and will appear on your next invoice.

Note that it is not possible to change the recording capacity in the Customer Centre.
