Choosing the default language for your rentals

On the 900 homepage, press the green diamond D on your remote control and select Modify Preferences > Preferred language.

  1. Press the 900 button.
  2. Navigate through the menus with the arrows icone fleches telecommande illico and choose the category or content you want to watch. Press OK/SELECT after each choice.
  3. Once you’ve selected your content, you can choose Order, See the trailer or Add to my selections. Enter OK/SELECT.
  4. Select your language (FR) (EN) and format (HD) (SD) preference, then press OK/SELECT. If an option is not available, it will be greyed out.
  5. Enter your administrator PIN or purchase PIN to confirm the rental order. If you don’t have a PIN, you’ll be invited to create one.
  6. The movie ordered will be available for the period displayed on your TV screen. Interrupted viewing can be resumed via the Resume viewing menu.

Your administrator PIN or purchase PIN is required to confirm a specified rental order. If you don’t have a PIN, a screen will appear allowing you to create an administrator PIN. See how to change your PIN.

Rent a movie on illico TV First Generation

  1. Slide your remote control button to VOD mode.
  2. Choose a category, sub-category, or specific title and press the SELECT button after each choice.
  3. Move the arrows to highlight the ORDER button, then press SELECT.
  4. Enter your PIN, then press SELECT again.
  5. Select the CONFIRM button on the screen, or press the PLAY button on your remote control.
  6. You can view the movie as many times as you like for as long as the rental period is in effect.

Warning: A PIN is required to order a Video On Demand movie or show. The default PIN on all terminals is “0000.” It is important to personalize this PIN as soon as possible to ensure you have complete control over any orders made from your terminal.

How do you resume watching a movie on illico

  1. Press the 900 button.
  2. Using the arrows icone fleches telecommande illico, select Resume viewing.
  3. Using the arrows, select a title that you’ve already ordered.

The duration next to the title indicates the time remaining on the rental.

How to access the Éléphant movie catalogue

Éléphant offers a vast catalogue of restored and digitized Québec movies from all eras.

  1. Press the 900 button.
  2. From the menu on the left, select Movies.
  3. Select the Éléphant section.

Any content you order is available for viewing on all your devices for a fixed period of time, which is typically:

  • Movies: 48 hours after ordering.
  • Events: 24 hours after ordering.
  • Adult content: 18 hours after ordering.

You can’t cancel a paid movie rental, which is why we recommend that you check your order and the language before finalizing the purchase.

Helix 

  • Removal of the resume viewing feature on all Helix platforms. However, for a completed episode, the next one will be offered for viewing from the beginning (Save/For you).
  • Removal of the viewing progress bars from menus.
  • Removal of the automatic launch of next episode (except for iOS and tvOS).

Illico+

  • Viewing carrousel now leads to the series' homepage (no more direct launch).
  • Removal of the "Resume" and "Watch" buttons from a series' homepage.
  • Removal of the automatic launch of next episode options.

Illico

  • Resume viewing (VOD): now leads to the show's homepage (no more direct launch of an episode).
  • Removal of the automatic launch of next episode after pressing STOP.
  • Recordings: you have to go through the list of episodes to start watching an episode (even for a single episode).
