Consult the technical specifications and the diagram of the different parts of the Helix Fi gateway.

Front view

Helix Fi gateway - Front view
  1. WPS button (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)  
    Enables to easily and securely connect devices to your protected Wi-Fi network without having to manually enter your network’s name and password.
  2. Status LED  
    Indicator light that shows the gateway’s status. For more details on its colours, refer to the page What the LED lights on the Helix Fi gateway mean.

  1. Telephone cord inputs (2)  
    Enable you to connect two telephones using a telephone cord (these inputs are not used for Videotron’s Home Phone service, which currently uses another technology).
  2. Ethernet ports (2)  
    Enable you to physically connect a device to the Internet, off the Wi-Fi network, using an Ethernet cable.
  3. Coaxial cable input  
    Enables you to connect the gateway to a coaxial outlet.
  4. Power supply input  
    Enables you to connect the gateway to a power outlet that isn’t connected to a dimmer or switch.

    Enables you to reset the gateway to factory settings. See how to do it.

Bottom view

  1. Network Name (SSID)  
    Wi-Fi network’s default name.
  2. Password  
    Default password to connect to your Wi-Fi network for the first time.
  3. WPS PIN  
    The device’s personal WPS identification number.
  4. SN  
    Device’s serial number.
  5. CM MAC  
    Gateway’s MAC address.
  6. MTA MAC  
    MAC address for telephone services.
