How to Watch the Canadiens’ Games on Prime Video
If this isn’t your first time logging in, just use the voice command and say, “Prime Video.”
If this is your first time using the app on your TV, press the Helix button on your remote control and select Apps.
Select the Prime Video app.
If you’re already a Prime Video subscriber, select Sign in. Otherwise, select Create an account to sign up right on your TV.
Follow the on-screen instructions to sign in or subscribe directly.

The 2026–2027 NHL season is broadcast on TVA Sports, RDS, Sportsnet, and TSN, in addition to special broadcasts on illico+, TVA Sports Direct, Prime Video, and Sportsnet+.
Yes. To watch all the Canadiens games, you need to combine a Videotron TV or TV App plan that includes the channels broadcasting the games with a Prime Video* subscription for the games shown exclusively on that service.
Canadiens games are available on TVA Sports, RDS, and—for certain exclusive games—on Prime Video. Check our schedule above for game times and broadcast details.

The playoffs will be broadcast exclusively on TVA Sports.
Seven games are broadcast exclusively on Prime Video. Since this is a third-party app that isn’t integrated into the illico TV platform, a Prime Video* subscription is required to access them.

illico TV subscribers: You must subscribe by visiting the Prime Video website or by downloading the Prime Video app.
Some exclusive games are broadcast only on the Sportsnet+ app and are not included with the Sportsnet channel.
Good news: if you subscribe to TVA Sports, those same games are available in French on that channel.
Live events sometimes run over their scheduled time. To make sure you don’t miss those precious final minutes, add a buffer at the end of the recording.
On Helix TV, in the recording options, adjust the “Stop” field. You can set an extension of 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 1 hour and 30 minutes.
