The document is divided into three main sections:

Summary of Essential Information:

A summary of your services and the corresponding rates and discounts.

Part 1 – Your Agreement

Details on the terms and conditions of your services and discounts.

Part 2 – General rules

Details on general rules applicable to all Videotron Residential customers.

Helix services contract

This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of Helix Internet, Helix TV, and Helix TV app services, including monthly payments and offer end dates.

Where is the monthly price shown?

On the first page of the Summary of Essential Information, refer to the Summary – Services, multi-product promotional offers and miscellaneous charges section.

The first table shows the regular monthly payments 1 and permanent discounts associated with each service2. The total represents the regular cost of the services3, without the applicable promotional offers.

The second table shows the limited-time promotional offers4, including the start and end dates of the discounts 5 associated with these offers. Your monthly price, with all discounts and before taxes, is shown in the Monthly costs during first promotional period 6 section of this table.

Where are the end dates of offers and instalment plans shown?

Equipment purchase instalment plans

The Summary of Essential Information section has a table showing Equipment purchased with instalment plan under each applicable service. It shows the monthly fee 1 and payment end date 2.

Where is the monthly price shown?

On the first page of the Summary of Essential Information, refer to the Summary – Services, multi-product promotional offers and miscellaneous charges section.

The monthly amount for your services, with discounts and before taxes, is shown in the Total 1 line of the Monthly costs during first promotional period column.

To this amount is added the monthly payment for the purchase of a mobile device with the Simplified Payment option 2, if applicable.

The grand total (with discounts and before taxes), which includes the monthly amount for your services and for the purchase of a device, if applicable, is located in the right-hand box of the Monthly costs during first promotional period 3 line.

Where are the offer and Simplified Payment option end dates shown?

Discounts and promotional offers

Promotions and their end dates are listed in the Summary of Essential Information section of the Promotion(s) table under each applicable service.

Simplified Payment option

In the Summary of Essential Information section, under Mobile telephony services, a table shows Equipment purchased with Simplified Payment option. It indicates the monthly cost  1 and the payment end date 2.

It also shows the minimum monthly payment for the plan required to maintain your discount 3, if applicable.

Contract FAQ

The service agreement specifies the amount and duration of your discounts, which are guaranteed for the specified period. However, the current rate for services is not guaranteed and may be increased, with the exception of Mobility rates, which are guaranteed for life as long as you retain your initial subscription. Learn more about rate increases.

Only discounts are fixed until their end date. Standard rates are not guaranteed over time and can be changed.

Sometimes a service is subject to a rate increase. In this case, we will send you a new contract indicating the new conditions. Although your discounts remain in effect until the end of the specified period, your monthly payment may increase slightly.

By its very nature, the document must specify your agreement with us down to the last detail, including the regular rate for services. However, if you benefit from discounts, these are indicated a little further down in your agreement, in a section different from the regular rates.
